50 Animal Friendships That Might Change How You View A Supposedly Terrible World

Most of us enjoy photos of cute animals of their kind and from different species getting along. This goes to show that there is some good going on in the seemingly terrible world. There are a kitten and an owl, a dog and an elephant, a dog and a leopard, a dog comforting a fellow sick dog, an elephant calf and an ostrich, and more endearing displays.

Jenny Dagnino (Pet Behavior and Pet Training Manager, Arizona Humane Society-AHS) is insightful on this observation. She says it is common for such social relationships to be formed between animals.

She adds that cats, dogs, and other pets are social creatures that like being around other animals or people. Most likely, they interacted with these animals when they were little and grew up with them. And sometimes they have had pleasant experiences with such animals that went on for a long time.
