Emanuele Abrate, the Logo Savior

Trademark logos speak volumes when it comes to branding. It’s all or nothing. Commercial giants like Nike and Apple say it all. A checkmark and an apple with a bite. There’s something really big about them behind the simplicity. These two are exemptions though.

Italian graphic designer Emanuele Abrate is very much familiar with logos gone bad so he has project goals. He focuses on issues about formatting, vague messages, and designs. According to him, the worst logos ever, are screaming for a redesign.

He chose nine among various nastiest logo fails which still have a chance. He gave an interpretation based on his views. See for yourself and marvel at the result of his brilliance.

We had the chance to get in touch with him while he was in Cherasco, Northern Italy to understand his project more. He says he had the idea of redesigning the worst logos ever for a long time.
