Ryan Reynolds comes to the Rescue in Giving $5000 as Ransom for Irreplaceable Teddy Bear

What would you do if what you valued most in your life was taken away from you? Mara Soriano found herself in dire straits when her most valuable possession got stolen. It was a teddy bear with her mother’s voice recording in it. The recording played, “I love you. I’m proud of you. I’ll always be with you.” Her mother died after a brave battle with cancer that lasted nine years.

The sad thing happened during a move. She left her bag for what seemed like a few seconds. When she came back, it was gone. She was attending to an emergency about an injured friend. Her fiancee and the rest that were assisting them didn’t realize the bag left behind.

Anyway, Ryan Reynolds got wind of it. He decided to give a ransom reward of $5000 to anyone who found and returned the bear. He sweetened the deal to include torrents of Vancouver gin.

After a short time, the bear was returned unscathed. It made for a happy Mara, as seen in the photo of her holding the bear. Social media was abuzz of Ryan’s heart-warming gesture. He’s involved in giving donations to various causes and charities. He is known for his humanitarian deeds.
