5 advertising students want IKEA to center their plastic pollution awareness campaign around their soft toys.

The amount of plastic that we are producing today is going to last us for generations. Plastic is the most common pollutant in the oceans. We’ve all come across videos captured by people who went diving and discovered more plastic than animals on the ocean floor. Spreading awareness about this type of pollution is something that 5 students from the MADS advertising agency want IKEA to do.

They created an advertisement campaign with animals stuck in plastic using IKEA soft toys. The ocean is in need of help today, which is why IKEA responded positively to this campaign. IKEA as an organization is already trying to do its bit for the environment.
