35-year-old Nicki Draycott is an avid DIY practitioner. She is also a Nottinghamshire-based student nurse, married with four children, and three of them are girls. When she got pregnant with the third girl, she realized that the girls need to have one room together. So she and her husband began looking for ideas to have three beds in one room.
Then they saw a page on Facebook called “Steps 2 beds Ltd,” which specialized in these types of beds. She made contact with one of the page administrators, which arranged for someone to go to their home and build it for them.
“We asked the girls what kind of theme they would like, and they asked for pink and flowery, so that’s where the concept came from,” Nicki said.
Her bedroom-centric post garnered more than 33,000 likes and 6,000 comments.
“I can’t believe the response we’ve got and thank you so much for the lovely comments,” she wrote on her timeline.
