These Dogs are Wild about Dragon Fruit

You might think that dogs are carnivores, and you will be half-right. They do consume meat and its by-products, but they also eat plant foodstuffs. The right term for that is “omnivore.”

Nevertheless, dogs that go bananas over fruit are unheard of, until now. A Border Collie named Kelly and an Australian Shepherd named Keira, both from Taiwan went to a farm recently. Together with two of their friends, also Border Collies, they tried—in their little doggie ways—to help their owner harvest dragon fruit.

They went crazy and smeared themselves the red fruit’s sticky juices. But instead of punishing them, the owners took out their cameras and snapped away. The photos went viral, bringing delight to people everywhere.

Meanwhile, the pack has never been happier and had the time of their doggie lives.

“Keira came from C-Square Aussies, the best dog breeders in Taiwan. They helped us a lot to choose the right puppy for Kelly’s personality. They became best friends the moment Keira came to our home.”

Keira couldn’t help herself, and she finally attacked the dragon fruit like a ferocious wolf. The dragon fruit was beaten to a pulp and left in a bloody mess.
