No Gym Visit was Required While Shedding 120 Pounds in a year for a Cattle Rancher at 27

Kiah Twisselman has been on an exciting weight loss journey. It was sparked by the book “Girl Wash Your Face,” by Rachel Hollis. In it, you are encouraged to take up 5 habits.

The journey began in October 2018. By January 2019, she had lost 25 pounds. This encouraged her to aim higher. She aspired to shed 100 more pounds by October. She surpassed her expectations when she shed 120 pounds!

The way she got there was in making healthy lifetime adjustments. As for the diet, it has to be balanced and comprise your favorite foods. She’s a sixth-generation rancher who always struggled with weight. She tried many weight loss fads and tactics that failed. She blamed her genes.

Being a Beef Council worker, promoting beef is the norm for her. But, she felt the need to be a better example. That’s how she embarked on a healthier lifestyle.

She committed to be better every day than she was the previous day. She changed her mindset, and her body followed. She is now a life coach, seeking to inspire as many as would listen. And the message is, learn to love yourself. From a size 20, she’s now a size 6.
