The Kindness of a Less Abled Dog Will Make the Coldest Hearts Warm

We all know that dogs are loyal, caring creatures. It is heartwarming to realize that disability will not maim this character in a canine.

Sheryl Smiths’s dog Shiro is her adopted pet. It seems that Sheryl’s kindness rubbed on to Shiro because he goes out of his way to welcome and comfort newly fostered pets. Most recently was a kitten, called Tiny Tolley.

The kitty was a bit terrified of Shiro’s friendliness but eventually got used to it. His kindness was seen when a pregnant, fostered dog turned up sick. He helped her by cleaning up the pups. The fosters ended up bonding with him more than Sheryl.

The fact is Shiro is both deaf and partially blind. But that is never a hindrance to her care and kind nature. Isn’t that amazing?

He’s been living with Sheryl since he was a puppy for two years. He previously lived in 12 foster homes and 2 shelters, adopted four times and returned. This left him with looming anxiety of being rejected again and causes him to whimper whenever they take a drive with him.

Tiny Tolley’s terrified stare left many in the social media in stitches. But they are all moved by Shiro’s friendliness.
